My Observations for Euro 2012

Its a fixed thing that the hosts have to bow out in the first phase itself, afterall chance to host is given to only those who make way in the group stage.

So when the Greece football team win, is it wise to say that give the Greeks some credit ??

Spain's decision to put up a 4-6-0 in the first game was in agitation to non inclusion of Shakira on pre tournament relaxing time. Ohh and you thought it was due to non inclusion of Soldado !!

Who says Messi is not playing at the Euros, the crowd doesn't think so, do they ??

There is a popular term called the 'The Luck of the Irish' but clearly the Ireland Football team haven't got it with them.

Let whomsoever win the Euro 2012, but the prize money and the cup may just end with Germany. Afterall, its their initial investment aint it ??

Jordan Henderson won a place in the England squad through 'Win a Place at Euros' lucky draw !! Seems Legit !!

The likes of Turkey, Belgium & Serbia should have been here at the Euros, afterall Germany needs to defeat more teams no ??

Junior Masterchef should be banned !!!

Yes, The hugely popular program Junior Masterchef should be banned and the reasons are legitimate.
For the not so couch potatoes, here is a background. The show is where kids aged 9 to 12 years cook these amazing dishes and earn plaudits for the same and eventually one winner earns this grand prize.

So then the reasons start ...
Firstly, these small kids between the ages of 9 to 12 years produce these awesome dishes half of which I havent even heard. And the other half I cannot replicate. These kids are not supposed to cook like this mate. Suddenly my mom expects me to cook 'Chicken Spanakopita with Tomato Concasse' and yes Spanakopita is officially a word !!! Damn !!
Secondly, such events should not be recorded and if done then done so from a secretive location and to a select audience. Otherwise mothers all over will stop cooking and coax their loved ones to make weird dishes.
Thirdly, it inculcates a sense of humility & level headedness among the small children. At that age you are supposed to pull the other kids leg or boast how better you are and not we were equal and he/she is my best friend. Goshh ... I cannot take this anymore.
Next, for the winner he/she gets all the cool gizmos but related to cooking which obviously then wont use at their will and there will be close surveillance from their moms. Has the era of Barbie & GIJoes gone :O
Lastly, there is moolah involved too but it is part of this trust fund. So the kids invest their blood & sweat and moms sitting at home decide where to invest. Isnt this child labour?? :P

But all in all one awesome program and I am the #1 fan. Period.

Exam equation

You know there is an exam approaching ... when you tend to sleep more than usual.
You know there is an exam approaching ... when you watch a re-run of Friends episode that you have already watched a zillion times.
You know there is an exam approaching ... when your taste buds crave for anything and everything.
You know there is an exam approaching ... when texting even the most distant acquaintances is a very important chore of the day.
You know there is an exam approaching ... when the days pocket money goes in photocopies of notes which you might have saved had you written down in lectures.
You know there is an exam approaching ... when you buy a pen of your own.
You know there is an exam approaching ... when the visits to the temple increase.
You know there is an exam approaching ... when the blogs no longer are on the website but in your papers ... afterall its about filling the papers aint it ?? 

Football is not just Football

Some say that, throughout the day one person tends to relate to one thing or often ends finding some relation to one thing. It may be different for different people. For me its FOOTBALL !!!

Early morning the first thing I do is Step 1: Take the newspaper in hand and straightaway flip it over. Step 2: Scan for some Football news. After the newspaper comes the second mode of media - The Internet ... First visit the football websites, get a load on all the latest happening (as if they were going to change overnight) but yeah do it and then sometimes curse the website moderators for not getting updated news. Sometimes check the fantasy league scores and think of all the wicked burns I am going to lay on the peers below me in the leagues. Bwahaha !!!

College/Office reached ... First lay those wicked burns on the unfortunate fans (before forgetting .. pheww) and then discuss strategies or good goals or assists from that day with the fellow football fans. Obviously there will be one odd taunt on lack of other teams scoring/trophies/discipline/winning/trophies_again :P

Make plans to play football in that particular week and hope its a success but somewhere deep down inside you know that no one is going to turn up.

Finally reach home and surf for some more news and post one of them on a social networking site. Yeah .. checking the comments and likes/retweets is a part of that process.

Above all, change the wallpaper of my desktop to the next football star or the club I love ... Manchester United !!! \m/

Thinking ...

Blogging is defined as 'A frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts'. The definition looks very nice and lucrative but to actually write something is one hard task. We may speak or write endlessly .. to that extent that sometimes people in front of you are bored (did not happen with me till now .. or has it ??) but when it comes to sitting in front of the computer screen ... you are blank !!! 
People say 'Writing a blog' is in vogue dude. Some say it will give your personality a new dimension. I wonder how ?? I am already 3D abhi kya time bhi add hoga :O ... This is Acesus at 3.00 pm #BadJoke.
Others say it adds to your resume. But how? If I am applying for a Finance related job in a Bank of Financial institution then if I show them this blog ... joota chappal maarenge !!!
But yeah Blogging is fun ... dont think much just write !! Enjoy yourselves, Get the frustration out or sometimes even the inside analyst \m/
